After his year out (well almost) it was May before Cliff got back into the swing of things by making an appearance in front of an audience. The Royal Albert Hall was the venue for Cliff's May concert and as usual a resounding success, and of course a good starting place for his first single from the Wanted album - Over The Rainbow/What A Wonderful World. Cliff's as we all know likes to spend time overseas, and in 2001 he visited Italy, Barbados, Portugal, France and America. He took an extended summer as in his mind were the thoughts that there would be work to be done to promote his new Wanted album.
Also on the agenda was a television special, The Hits I Missed, which was scheduled for December for ITV.
Finally his single Somewhere Over The Rainbow / What A Wonderful World was released - an excellent choice for a single.
